Emma Howard Boyd CBE has had an extensive career in financial services at the forefront of the climate change, environmental and sustainable finance agendas.
She was Chair of the UK’s Environment Agency, and an ex-officio board member of the UK’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from 2016 to 2022. She is currently Chair of the Green Finance Institute, an Adviser to the UK Board of Trade, and a UN Global Ambassador for Race to Zero and Race to Resilience.
Emma serves on several boards and advisory committees including Liontrust Asset Management PLC, The European Climate Foundation, The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), and as Co-Chair of The Coalition for Climate Resilient Investment and Chair of the Advisory Council for The UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment.
Emma will lead the effort to build Arc’s Advisory Council and Panel of Experts who will guide our work in accelerating and scaling up climate finance globally.
